100% real and unique content.
When I opened Strictly Sardinia in May 2020, I had the goal of delivering my readers the best travel tips and hacks that would help them plan a fabulous trip to my beloved island, regardless on when and how they’d want to visit.
Through Strictly Sardinia, I make it a point to deliver the best content about all places in Sardinia to independent travelers who want to plan a trip to the island. And if they still need help, they can count on my ready-made itineraries and even on my holiday planning services.
My Content Pillars
All the content you find on Strictly Sardinia is written by humans – AKA myself and occasionally my beloved sister Elisabetta. We write for other real travelers, and in a world that pushes us towards the use of AI, we intend to keep writing and delivering human-written content.
All articles are based on our personal experience of having visited a destination, tried an activity, slept at a hotel – you get the idea. We are locals – we were born and raised in Cagliari, and this is where we currently live, and we explore locally on a regular basis.
We visit all the places you see mentioned on Strictly Sardinia on a regular basis. We are regular guests at the restaurants you see mentioned in our articles; and we sleep at the hotels we review – and pay out of our own pocket whenever we do that.
What you won’t find on Strictly Sardinia is AI content. While more and more travel sites are outsourcing content creation or using AI to deliver more content, I only wish to write based on my own experience. Let me not comment on the amount of misleading or simply, factually wrong information I have come across on Sardinia on many other sites – evidently created by people who can’t even put Sardinia on the map.
Each article you find on Strictly Sardinia is the outcome of a walk, a tour, a trip to visit a place, an attraction, a restaurant and even a hotel in person, and of extensive research where I check for facts and make sure the content I am delivering is accurate and on point. My posts are updated on a regular basis too, so that you can count on useful information whenever you decide to plan your trip to Sardinia.
Reviews and Vetting
If you come across a review on Strictly Sardinia, whereas it is a tour, a hotel or a product, you can rest assured that I have tested it in person (and usually with my favorite travel partner, my sister!). I always – literally always – pay out of my pocket for anything I try and mention on my site. On the rare occasions on which I am gifted an experience or product and I decide to write about it, you’ll find a legal disclosure at the bottom of the article.
Updating Content
Articles on Strictly Sardinia are updated on a regular basis, and as often as necessary. I do this to make sure that the content you read is accurate and relevant, the hotels and tours you wish to book still running and thus you have an easier time when planning your trip.
Corrections and Comments
You are welcome to comment on any of my posts, and to contact me at [email protected] if you want to send me an update, if you spot a mistake, or if you want to add to the information about your experience of a place or attraction in Sardinia. I read my emails on a regular basis, and I go through each comment I receive and answer dutifully!
